A complimentary mini training pack of first aid supplies is provided to participants for all of our courses that include Provide First Aid as a component. The training pack consists of bandages, (including a snakebite bandage), calico triangle bandage and dressing, so there is no need to share bandages during the course. These packs are free to participants and can be kept at the end of the course.
Training and assessment for all courses is delivered by PADI Asia Pacific Pty Ltd RTO #6729 http://www.padirto.com/ and undertaken by First Aid Bowen under a third party arrangement.
Course content is delivered in accordance with the requirements of Australian National Training Standards (see www.training.gov.au) and in accordance with ASQA (see www.asqa.gov.au). All trainers at First Aid Bowen are members of PADI RTO #6729, meet the National VET Requirements and hold the latest TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
All courses are available with face to face training, with no online theory or homework necessary to complete your course. However for those who prefer to complete online theory at home and shorten the class time we also offer ONLINE THEORY for several courses. (ensure you choose the ONLINE version when booking the course).
Candidates will be assessed regularly through class discussions, practical skills and answering written questions while you are training. Candidates who are assessed as competent in all skills and knowledge required will be issued with their Statement of Attainment on the spot, at the completion of their course.
For business groups of 9 or more, training can be undertaken at your premises. Please contact us to arrange a schedule that suits your needs.
